S.A. Harris
My first publication appeared in 1998 as a freelance writer for Cornerstone Newspaper, and while I began writing as childhood affections (often jamming the keys of my mother’s Smith Corona), I continue the avid pursuit of establishing a lifelong career… having written a collection of short stories, children’s picture books, poetry, and the completion of two novels.
Upon submitting various writing samples to author, Simon Van Booy, I was selected as one of fourteen applicants to attend his writing workshop.
My poetic accomplishments were honored for inspirational poem, From Beneath the Shade, featured in the anthology, Forever Spoken… and along with receiving an Editor’s Choice Award for outstanding artistry by a poet, my short story, Booklover… Will Travel, appears as a Feature Article for Estella’s Revenge April issue.
