Background

Kathleen was born August 13, 1955, the oldest of two children, to Betty & Bill
Schupp, in Euclid, Ohio. They moved to Lyndhurst, Ohio, shortly before her
sister, Elizabeth, was born in 1959. Kathy attended St. Clare parochial grade
school and graduated from Charles F. Brush High School in 1973. She received
an Associate in Business degree from Bowling Green State University in 1975,
then worked for Squire Sanders & Dempsey (law firm) in Cleveland from 1976 to
1978.  She was employed by Pickands Mather & Co. from 1978 through 1984, as a
legal assistant. During this time, she attended Ursuline College at night,
and graduated with a B.A.  in 1985.  She then worked for Parker Hannifin & Co.,
in various capacities including Marketing Supervisor, until March, 1997, when
her son was born.  She continued working part-time for Parker (from the home)
until the adoption of her daughter in December, 1997.  In her current role as
full-time mother, she has been both challenged and rewarded more than any
former career position.  And she loves it!!

Currently, she's active with the children's Co-Op preschool and their many
related activities, their parish Social Concerns Commission, and their new
e-commerce business, GrandmaGibbsAngelBibs.com.
