John Mayer John Mayer is a professional musician, songwriter, and published author. His folk rock style is influenced by Neil Young, Bruce Springstein, Jimmy Buffett, and the Eagles to name a few. He has performed his unique blend of acoustic guitar, harmonica, and heartfelt vocals all over Canada and Florida. John's writing projects include two children's stories; "Tales of Croakanoakio", and "Looking for Mr. Bill". The short story "Letter's Back Home", is published in the Indie Journal and the Amazing Author's Showcase. His latest work "Hello? It's me." is published in Quantum Muse, the E-Street Journal, and the Indie Journal. After paying his dues on the road, John spent 15 years in the car business, and switched to marine sales seven years ago. Writing music and performing are a large part of his life, and he entertains whenever possible. The vagabond spirit is alive within his soul and probably will be forever. John is fortunate enough to spend many winter months in Cape Canaveral, Florida with his American life partner Marla. The Space Shuttle rattles their windows when it takes off. Bike riding on the beach is a favorite pastime, and he will occasionally throw out a fishing line. Life is Good!
