The Light of the Beautiful Moon

Sing song birds lay down for the night,
The mother says to her little children, "Sleep Tight."
And as the wolf cries to the moon,
This is the lovely sound of the coon,
Co COOO, Co COOO, Co COOO
Cries the coon underneath the light of the beautiful moon.

And while the rabbits lay down to rest their sweet heads,
Their children will be snug in their beds.

And you'll be in bed too,
Just like the coon,
Underneath the light of
The beautiful Moon.
