A Rainy Day

The storm higher than the Statue of Liberty.

People not knowing what is going on, but going outside to look. Not a good idea, the water is coming already higher than the Statue of Liberty.

Then the wind started into a big hurricane.

People hurry into the house sacred like a mouse getting chased by a big house cat. 

The only person brave enough to go outside in the horrible weather, is Sarah. She wanted to see what was going.

She put her bathing suit on and went into the horrible weather. Almost to her death.

In the water it was really really cold. So cold she almost drowned.

But she did not.want to go at 10 years old, and she wanted to find her real parents. She is adopted and has been moved around homes and homes.

"Sarah come back" screamed Sarah's best friend Bob. He was adopted too but he has a big crush on her and didn't want her to get hurt.

"Come back"

But it was too late she was in the cold water going to see what was going on.

Sarah saw only water and the bottom of the Statue of Liberty and, one big shark. 

She quickly swam as fast as she could, finally got back to the house and got a big big warm towel and got a warm outfit on and couldn't believe what was happening.

She knew a big storm was coming and possibly a new century!

"People people please stop talking I have important news about the weather outside it could possibly be the next century" as everyone looked around scared as mice are when their getting chased by a big house cat.

All the people started crying and calling family, telling them the news. People looking for their kids, hugging them and crying.

Sarah wanted to have somebody to hug and cry in their arms but she had to be strong and tough it out. "Sarah"cried Bob she ran to him almost in tears and told him the bad news.

As she told him the news he ran to his foster parents and cried in their arms. "People we need to get out of here and go to a safer place."

“I'm not going any where" sad an old lady. "I'm staying here"

Sarah told her how a new century could kill everyone if they don't get to a safer place if not they all die! Sarah started walking up to a higher floor of the library. But the police wont let her go alone. Only if somebody goes with her. So she went and got Bob, but still the police officer would not let her go unless she was with an adult.

Bob thought "if i get my foster mom to come with us Sarah will love me"

Bob ran and told his mom about the new century again and told her if they want to survive they have to go up higher in the library and Sarah is trying to go up but she needs an adult with her.

Bobs mom thought he was lying but when she saw Sarah talking to the police officer and than said "ok"

As Bob’s mom walked over the police officer and told the police officer she would take her up there.

"Thank you so much Bobs mom"

You are a weird Little girl she thought to her self. 

As they walked up there, the storm was bigger than EVER and the water pressure was so hard it cracked the window and cold cold water filled the library and everyone sadly didn't make it except two little kids one boy one girl.
